Cappitron’s Short Circuited Rant

Time for Cappitron’s super manly art tutorial! Beware using this tutorial if you’re a girl, you’ll have a goatee by the end of this paragraph!

If you’re like me, you have a hard time reproducing objects and characters perfectly. To reproduce Prime and Grimlock over, and over, and over again, I applied a trick that I learned in high school art class (it pays to pay attention!).

If you need to duplicate a character or scenery, first make a photocopy (or use tracing paper and trace over the picture). Next, turn over the paper, and use your pencil to generously shade where the objects are on the other side. Turn paper over again, place the paper in the desired area, and then retrace over the lines of the photocopy or tracing paper. The shading on the other side will be transferred over to the desired area, making a “ picture” perfect rendition. Ink and then impress your friends by telling them you free balled it.

Now ladies, go shave.
