NOTE: These pictures can also be seen over at Mrcappys gallery [link] He was very gracious and gave me permission to upload his drawings here seeing as Im Mrcappy. In other words, these arent stolen unless you think I plagiarized myself. ==================== Cappitrons Short-Circuited Rant ==================== As far as I know, I have yet to discover my art being ripped off. IS MY ART NOT WORTHY OF YOUR SHAMELESS TRACING?! We as artists are proud of our two-dimensional babies. Heck, most of the time, I place a stupid little copyright tag adjacent to my art. Sure, someone trained in the art of CROPPING could remove my futuristic theft deterrent in about six seconds, but what tops the fear of being art ganked is the fact that I want people to see my doodle.
Which brings us to the bug up my buttthe water bug! I mean watermark bug! Hey, if watermarks are your thing, then god bless ya. I find watermarks to be the exact opposite of artistic protection. Many a time I have attempted to fullview a drawing, only to read a superimposed destined docket fodder: THIS PICTURE IS COPYRIGHT TO HUGGLEKITTEN45!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT REPRODUCE!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT STEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL STAB ART THIEVES IN THE EYES WITH MY MICRON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Well, congrats. No one would dare steal your art now seeing as no one can actually VIEW your masterpiece past the forty-eight-font-sized-comic-sans block letters security guarding this mystery drawing. I mean, youve worked amazingly hard to produce your creation, right? Youre proud of your NarutoxInuYasha yaoi picgonna pass that puppy down to your grandkids, right? Then show it off! You may run the risk of being copied, but at least people can fully appreciate the detail of your work in all its intended glory if you gaze close enough at your art, within every curl of Inuyashas chest hair you can sense the soul-crushed disdain of the original manga artist as they realize what fangirls have wrought on their creations!
==================== The Lowdown On The Download ==================== Tutorial by Sandy N. Mahbuttcrack, Esquire It is a HISTORICAL FACT that I am the LEADING Transformers EXPERT. Well, OF COURSE, BEING SO EFFORTLESSLY TALENTED just comes NATURALLY to me! I DONT EVEN TRY REALLY! I like to give back to the LITTLE PEOPLE of the fandom. Constantly, I see fanart with ERRONEOUSLY MISUSED facial expressions of Optimus Prime. Such a FICTITIOUS character deserves BETTER! Being a TRUE FAN, I have watched EVERY EPISODE AT LEAST FIVE TIMES in BOTH ENGLISH AND JAPANESE DUBS, and notice such things most LAYMEN would miss. I have thus uploaded a QUINTESSENTIAL tutorial to make sure YOUR art improves. THERE IS NO ROOM FOR MISTAKES BECAUSE TRANSFORMERS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS!!
How many of you have read tutorial descriptions/had a critique that mirrored such a condescending tone? Its wonderful to attack the people youve chosen to help. Most people mess this area up and it ticks me off! Are people really that dumb?! Yeah, youre right. If only they had looked at a tutorial and learnoh. Maybe thats what theyre doing right now, and as an added bonus they have learned they fail at art. Good job, life coach! Of course, Im not gonna make you feel better seeing this is a joke, and really, once you draw his face once, youve mastered the gamut of all Primes mannerisms.
The only time I ever noticed emotion from Optimus face was when he was on his deathbed and his eyes squinted when Daniel begged him not to die. It was actually effective and I dare any fan to swear they dont get choked up during that scene. Other than that, Optimus Pantoprime doesnt use his face to show what hes thinking. Yes, I just attempted to play-on the word pantomime.
About the art. So much work for such a stupid joke somebody better have laughed! To reproduce Primes visage over, and over, and over again, I applied a trick that I learned in high school art class (it pays to pay attention!). If you need to duplicate a character or scenery, first make a photocopy (or use tracing paper and trace over the picture). Next, turn over the paper, and use your pencil to generously shade where the objects are on the other side. Turn paper over again, place the paper in the desired area, and then retrace over the lines of the photocopy or tracing paper. The shading on the other side will be transferred over to the desired area, making a picture perfect rendition. Ink and then impress your friends by telling them you free balled it. -The The Ending To Vampire Hunter D Is A Great Example Of Using Eyes To Convey Emotion Cappitron
For the copycats: Micron Pigma pen 03 (linework), Prismacolor markers.
I agree with you on the copyrighting, I would do it but it does ruin my pictures a fair bit! Life is really too short to be worrying about those teeny-weeny things, but then again it just may be my nature of not caring.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that he who believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." -John 3:16
I didn't actually believe you were into it. Even though I only know you for your Dancing Megapenis icon and hilarious artwork, I do read your rants to get a glimpse of what is behind your eyes. I have concluded that you are not into yaoi. Unless you are, and that is fine but I’d be shamed that I made the wrong assumption so don’t be. Yuri has yet to be tested.
-The "I watch both your accounts and I feel like a stalker" Buns
When I stopped being a thirteen-year-old spaz, I realized pretty early on that yuri was created by a bunch of old wrinkly heterosexual Japanese businessmen who've test marketed clips with other old wrinkly heterosexual business men in order to sell a product and then forced very confused Korean animators to create the finished product.
And so the novelty of yuri has worn off.
Actually...I think the same description goes for yaoi as well (What?! They just wanted you to buy a thirty dollar DVD and don't care about character developme--OH LOOK TWO BISHIES MAKING OUT SQUEEE!!!!!!!1!).

A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

And we were laughing at the stars
While our feet clung tight to the ground.
So pleased with ourselves
For using so many verbs and nouns.
