Cappy’s Short-Circuited Rant

Sometimes, we forget that there are still adults who cannot comprehend this fandangled Internets machine. Case in point: Hasbro. In a brilliant display of old man syndrome, Hasbro struck deals will different continents. See, when America airs Transformers Animated episode 9, a place I like to call “Not America” airs Transformers Animated episode 10. And in the middle of a week, a place called “Definitely Not America” airs episode 11!

Okay, now see if you can follow me. There is this place online, where you can use your pagan sorcery and upload video clips for the world to see! So as it stands, I’ve already completed season two of Transformers Animated. I mean, I’m just flabbergasted that Hasbro didn’t see this inevitable scenario…because clearly, 35,000 YouTube users did.

Once again, here is a picture made possible from the generous contributions by viewers like you! ArchangelXAmy [link] changes her comment signature like she changes her underwear…which luckily is very often. I happened to see her newest one when I attempted to reply to her comment: “I'm endlessly amused by Starscream's opportunism; Megatron only seems to need to FALL DOWN for him to suddenly decide to assume command.”

Legend has it, she acquired this quote from somebody’s comment left on a Transformers video posted on YouTube.

The same place where about fifteen pages of comments are dedicated to race wars, with having used the terms “hella gay” and “queer” about three times in a sentence, and spams about “OMG, U SHULD CHECK OUT THIS LINK--> I MADE 100 BUCKS!!!”
God bless her for sifting thru so much awfulness for that one nugget of gold. So I dedicate this picture to ArchangelXAmy and her packrat mentality for collecting choice quotes, and to that clever soul whose comment has undoubtedly been covered in an avalanche of banality and homophobia.

About the art. Wow. You should go to the beginning of my gallery, just to see the technical progression of my style. My first Transformer fanarts are pretty much sketches with slopped on colors, and I’ve slowly, consecutively, been putting in way too much time polishing these drawings. As it stands I’m really happy with this latest piece.

Fun fact: I’ve finally come to terms with my art style. I’ve been utilizing the natural white of the paper as a legitimate tone to characters simply because I’ve practically killed my prismacolor marker set. I’ve received several comments from supportive art buddies of “Wow! Your style is so unique! I love your coloring!” And so I’ve stopped viewing my products as slothful lustbabies and am actually linking it to my own style.

Also, checkerboard seizure ransom note letters are probably here to stay. Until they eventually do give someone a seizure.
