The Lowdown On The Download

I honestly don’t know how I come up with these things. At some point did I sell my soul to the devil that I am unaware about? Hey, maybe it’s like the plot to the Never-Ending Story II movie, where every time the boy makes a wish in the book, a real life memory of his disappears. Because I totally can’t remember where my dignity went that would have prevented me from curbstomping my favorite series.

WARPATH: I was dared to tackle the Warpath card. Warpath, in my mind, is the effing WORST character in the series. Whenever his turd-looking model was drawn on screen, I prayed to God that he wouldn’t have any speaking lines. But I was forsaken, and was always answered with his homebrewed sound effects of “BOOM, CRACK! Time to give these Decepticons a blast!”
Was that supposed to even rhyme?
So I simply imagine he has a wife that constantly hounds him, and he’s taking his frustrations out on the field:

Warpath: SMACK, FIST! That’s what you get for decorating our bed with pillows I can’t sleep on!!
Blitzwing: Um, I have no clue what you’re on about. You wanna talk about it?

BRAWN: Spoiler…no he won’t.

“That Brawn, he just walked out on me and never returned!”
“Because he died in the war.”
“ Pssh, those men will do ANYTHING to avoid commitment!”

Brawn was the first Autobots to kickoff Operation: Pee All Over Your Childhood Memories with the slaughter of the Autobots in the cartoon movie. But my card offers some key advice: if you ever find yourself in a movie, DON’T tell people you’ll be right back.
You won’t.
Trust me.

My favorite example of this was the movie Final Fantasy: Spirits Within. Or, by its title given by me, Final Fantasy: Let’s Use A Multimillion Dollar CGI Program To Animate A SciFi Channel Miniseries Script! Oh, we could spend time contemplating why execs thought “You know what makes those games popular? Take those parts out. Now we’ve got a hit!” just know the final result is a painfully shallow and connect-the-dots storyline in the desert/space/more desert. I’m sure everyone who watched the film pinpointed which one of the characters was about to die next. “Uh oh. The ship’s diagnostics aren’t working. I’ll just go outside and check it out.” Someone can just go ahead and sit in his seat, he ain’t coming back.

BLURR: He does everything fast. Even you! I feel a little bad about this one; his sex-you-up face came out looking more of a rape-time-in-the-shower face. It’s okay, I believe you. We’ll go down to the station and report him tomorrow, okay?

Do people really dislike Blurr? I actually found him interesting, since the voice actor really talked that fast (he’s a Guinness world record holder). And I’m looking forward to seeing his cameo in the Transformers Animated cartoon.

I warned you. I WARNED YOU!! Somebody suggested another character, so I had to create support cards around it. So we’re still at two more sets. These things will only stop when the apocalypse happens.
